And the IR operates in either frontal or IFF mode. Both batteries are inserted positive end first. But reverse the orientation of 1 battery and the light still operates. Plus it serves as storage for the extra battery. The head swivels and locks at the 90° and 180° position and the tailcap is tethered to
the light. And it survives a 3 meter drop.
