The original "Claymore bag," which was issued with the M18A1 Apers Mine (commonly known as "Claymore"), became extremely popular as a general service satchel due to its versatility. It was used for various purposes, including as a range bag, shower kit/toiletries bag, rifle magazine bandolier, dump pouch, and as a general stash-and-grab bag, among many other uses. Unfortunately, it was designed to be disposable, just like the mine, and the duck canvas from which it was made would either fall apart or rot after extended use.
Since then, modernized versions have been created, but none have matched the original bag's overall utility, simplicity, and versatility — until now.
This new version builds on the classic design of the claymore bag while incorporating modern features. Made from durable 500-D Cordura, it now includes an adjustable shoulder strap and hook-and-loop attachments on the inside, allowing you to secure your own hook-and-loop backed pouches (like the RRPS pouches) for better organization. This bag retains all the qualities that made the original so great while improving and modernizing the design.
