The suspension solution for tall operators and long torsos.
The Low Profile Adjustable Super Straps are an evolved version of our Low Profile Super Straps, engineered specifically to solve the military ruck fitment issues that taller personnel face with standard ALICE and MALICE frames.
The Problem
For operators with longer torsos, standard shoulder strap mounting points often force the rucksack to ride too high on the back. This pulls the waist belt up off the hips and onto the stomach or lower ribs, rendering it useless for weight distribution and forcing your shoulders to carry 100% of the load, leading to fatigue and potential injury.
The Solution
These straps feature a versatile mounting system with 5 different height adjustment. You can run the attachment straps through any of the four webbing rows to lower the pack incrementally (up to 4 inches), or run it directly from the anchor point. For the standard ride height, simply run the strap through all webbing rows and fasten. This range of adjustment ensures you can align the waist belt with your hips, regardless of your torso length.
Beyond the adjustability, these straps feature a streamlined, low-profile design with a dual-layer foam padding that won't bottom out under heavy loads.
