The Three Day Assault Pack is designed to carry enough supplies, clothing, and ammunition to sustain an individual for a 72-hour period. While the original model relied on external webbing for modularity, the Gen 2 focuses on internal organization by replacing that webbing with three dedicated zippered compartments. This shift allows for more secure storage and quicker access to specific equipment while moving through dense vegetation or urban environments where external pouches might snag.
The pack is built from 500 denier Cordura nylon to balance high tear strength with overall weight reduction. To account for the density of a 72-hour load, the suspension system features 3/8" air mesh padded shoulder straps and a reinforced, padded waist belt to shift weight onto the hips. Integrated air mesh back panels provide a cushioned contact point and facilitate airflow, reducing moisture buildup against the user’s back during long-distance movements.
Organized Storage: Three primary zippered compartments allow for the separation of bulkier items in the main hold from smaller, high-use gear in the front pockets.
Upgraded Suspension: Thick 3/8" air mesh shoulder straps, a sternum strap, and a robust padded waist belt provide stability under heavy loads.
Ventilation & Comfort: Air mesh back panels are designed to improve airflow and provide consistent cushioning.
External Attachment: Bottom compression straps are included for securing sleeping pads or rolls, while bottom MOLLE webbing allows for specialized attachments.
Protective Construction: A padded bottom protects gear from ground impact and features two drainage grommets for use in wet climates.
