Rucksack Modifications are upgrades we offer for military-issued ALICE packs and Tactical Tailor MALICE rucks. The customizations allow for more versatility and accessibility to your rucksack. From Reinforced Stress Points to 5 Pocket Combos, you will find various modifications to suit your needs!

We'll receive your ruck and make the modifications you want.
Step 4
In roughly 8 weeks, you'll get your ruck back, modded and ready to use.

How long does the modification process take?
Our current turnaround time is roughly 8 weeks from the time we receive your ruck at our facility until it is shipped back to you. For new or backordered rucks, that modification lead time is separate from the production lead time.
Do I need to clean my ruck before sending it in?
Yes. Please ensure your ruck is reasonably clean and empty of all personal items.
We will not work on gear that is excessively dirty or contains debris.

Can you modify rucks from other brands?
We primarily specialize in modifying US military issue rucks and our own Tactical Tailor packs. If you have a specific request for another brand, please contact our customer service team before placing your order.
Interested in mods for small or medium-sized rucks?
Contact customerservice@tacticaltailor.com. Not all mods will fit, so let us know what you'd like done.
NOTE: DO NOT send in your ruck or any items without an order. We will cancel and refund your order if we do not receive your ruck within 90 days of your initial order date. If sending in multiple rucks, it is best to place separate orders for each ruck to ensure that the correct modifications are applied every time.
